Farm

Our small farm grows 100% organic poultry, certified by the Midwest Organic Services Organization, as well as inspected and licensed by the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture. Our chickens are free-range, meaning that they live outside on land that has been free of pesticides, fertilizer, and any artificial additive for at least three years. They are free to scratch in the dirt and eat bugs, rather than kept in sterilized steel cages away from sunlight with five hundred of their fellows. Our poultry eats organic food and has never been injected with hormones or conventional medicines.

Our processing facility is located at the northwest corner of Highways Q and 54. It is a small farm with a light blue house and a white barn in the back. Our poultry farm is between Waupaca and Stevens Point, just off of Highway 10. Call for specific directions. Click on "contact us" for the phone number.

Family

Our family has always lived in the countryside near Stevens Point, Wisconsin. When we outgrew our ranch home, we moved to the family farm five miles away and began collecting animals. After the first few years of raising our own chickens, we decided to fill a niche for organic, home grown chicken and poultry processing. Sonday Produce is just an outgrowth of our simple lifestyle, one we enjoy sharing with others.

Agri-View ran a story on us last year that gives more background information, for those who are interested. Click on the link or picture below. (Both will open in a new window to save download and surfing time.)
